Juba Transição Shampoo
Strength and growth from the first step: the Juba Transição shampoo cleans hair halfway between two textures from root to tip without drying or tangling, with carob seed extract, soy protein and tamanu oil to help give the fibre in transition the strength and resistance it needs, with no SLS/SLES, in a 500ml bottle.
Widi Care is a hair-care brand from Rio de Janeiro, founded in 2009 by Simone Braga: it started in the city's salons and moved into Brazilian bathrooms in 2016 with its home-care lines, all made in the brand's own factory. Its best-known line is Juba ("mane"), the curly and coily range whose product names are little instructions in Portuguese: Higienizando a Juba (cleansing the mane), Encaracolando a Juba (curling the mane), Modelando a Juba (shaping the mane). Juba Transição is the line for transição capilar, the "hair transition": growing out relaxed or straightened hair and letting the natural texture back in. It is a long process, with two textures on the same head, and the line is built around strengthening: carob seed extract with hydrolysed soy protein, tamanu (Calophyllum) seed oil, lavender extract, wild-cinnamon seed extract and quinoa butter.
The shampoo cleans the scalp and the two textures gently, keeping the hair's natural moisture, and carries the line's strengthening pair (carob seed extract and soy protein) with tamanu oil, linseed oil and lavender and wild-cinnamon extracts.

Is it sulfate-free?
Yes. There is no SLS or SLES: the foam comes from milder cleansers (sulfosuccinate, betaine, glucosides and carboxylate).
Does it make hair grow?
Hair grows from the scalp at its own pace; what this line does is strengthen the hair and help it keep the length it grows, by reducing breakage.
Do I need to wash twice?
On most wash days one wash is enough. After heavy styling products or oil treatments, a second, quick wash leaves the scalp feeling fully clean.
