A gentle acid serum for oily, blemish-prone skin and uneven tone: 10% mandelic acid and 1% alpha-arbutin renew the skin's surface, help keep oil in check and help fade the look of dark spots, for a brighter, smoother complexion.

Mandelic acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid with a larger molecule than its cousins, so it renews the skin more gently: it helps regulate oil, keep pores clear and refine texture. Alpha-arbutin works on the look of uneven pigmentation for a more even-looking, brighter tone. A light, fragrance-free serum at pH 3.5 to 4.0. How to use

- Smooth gently over the face, avoiding the eye area, the eyelids and the corners of the nose and mouth.
- Use on alternate nights, in small amounts, for the first week, then every night. Follow with moisturiser, and use sunscreen every morning.

If contact with the eyes occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

Can I use it with other actives?
Yes. Apply it before moisturiser; on the nights you use it, skip other high-strength AHA products or peels. In the morning, finish with a daily sunscreen.
Does it contain fragrance or alcohol?
It is fragrance-free and contains no ethanol. Benzyl alcohol is present in a small amount as part of the preservative system. It is also free from parabens, silicones and gluten.
Can I use it during pregnancy?
Speak to your doctor before using an acid serum during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
