Payot Brasil is an independent Brazilian skincare company, wholly Brazilian-owned and run, and Acnederm is its long-standing line for oily, acne-prone skin. It is a separate company from, and not affiliated with, the French brand of the same name.
Salicylic acid works with niacinamide and tea tree oil to cleanse deep into the pores and help reduce the look of blemishes with daily use, while bisabolol and sage extract keep the ritual comforting. The clear gel turns into a light lather and rinses off cleanly, leaving a matte, fresh finish without that greasy midday shine. Frequently asked questions
Can I use it with an acid or retinoid serum?
Yes. Cleanse, pat the skin dry and then apply your serum. As the cleanser already contains salicylic acid, introduce strong exfoliating serums slowly and use them on alternate nights if your skin feels sensitive.
Does it contain fragrance?
Yes. It has a light fragrance alongside tea tree oil, and it is free from colourants and parabens.
Can I use it during pregnancy?
It contains salicylic acid, so please speak to your doctor before using it while pregnant or breastfeeding.
