About this product

Pink Pumice Foot Scrub

Rio's oldest pharmacy, in a pink vintage tube: Granado's foot scrub polishes rough heels and dry patches with real pumice while olive oil and olive unsaponifiables soften the skin at the same time. Paraben-free, dye-free, 80g.

Granado is Brazil's oldest pharmacy brand: founded in Rio de Janeiro in 1870, it made the country's first vegetable-glycerine soap in 1915 and still sells it today, alongside the vintage-style tins and boxes that made it a cult name in Brazil. Pink is the brand's playful line of vintage-looking tubes and tins, and this is its foot scrub: fine pumice particles in a creamy base with olive oil and olive unsaponifiables, so the rough skin on heels and soles is polished away while the skin is softened at the same time. The tube is small enough for a wash bag.

It is for dry feet and rough heels; use it after a bath or a warm foot soak, when the skin is soft, and finish with a foot cream.

Why you'll love it
  • Smooths rough heels and dry patches
  • Softens the skin as you scrub
  • A creamy texture, not a dry grit
  • A small tube that fits in a wash bag
Key ingredients
  • Pumice – the volcanic stone, finely ground, that does the smoothing.
  • Olive oil and olive unsaponifiables – soften the skin while you scrub.
  • Beeswax (cera alba) – gives the scrub its creamy body.
How to use
  1. After a bath, shower or warm foot soak, apply to dry feet.
  2. Massage in circular movements over heels, soles and any rough patches for a minute or two.
  3. Rinse, dry well and follow with a foot cream (the Ekos Brazil Nut Foot Cream is a good match).

More ways to use it:

  • How often: once or twice a week keeps feet smooth.
  • Hands: works on dry knuckles and elbows too.

Frequently asked questions

Is it good before a pedicure?
Yes. Scrub, rinse and dry well, then file and polish as usual: nails and cuticles look neater on smooth feet.

Does it work on very hard skin?
Yes: use it regularly on skin softened by a warm soak, and hard patches smooth out over the following weeks.

Which foot cream goes after it?
The Ekos Brazil Nut Foot Cream for everyday softness, or Feito Brasil's Oásis do Sertão Renewing Foot Cream for very dry heels.
