Feito Brasil (literally "made in Brazil") is a Brazilian house of artisanal luxury, founded by Lena Peron. Each collection pays homage to one region of the country: the names, the native ingredients and the hand-made ornament on every pack come from there, made by communities of women artisans. The line is vegan and not tested on animals. Kamú is the brand's facial line, built around camu-camu (Myrciaria dubia), the small Amazonian fruit known for its very high vitamin C content, and a blend of eight hyaluronic-acid forms of different molecular weights. Every Kamú product sits on a hand-carved base in itaúba wood made by the Baré people of the Amazon; the base is yours to keep.
O Esfoliante is the weekly step: fine particles of murumuru seed (an Amazonian palm) and white clay for the physical side, gluconolactone, a polyhydroxy acid known for being gentle, for the chemical side, and passion-fruit and pracaxi oils so the skin is not left dry.
