Feito Brasil (literally "made in Brazil") is a Brazilian house of artisanal luxury, founded by Lena Peron. Each collection pays homage to one region of the country: the names, the native ingredients and the hand-made ornament on every pack come from there, made by communities of women artisans. The line is vegan and not tested on animals. Dom Tropical is the collection of bar soaps that has won awards in Brazil, shaped like Brazilian fruit ice lollies (picolés), on a wooden stick, in a compostable wrapper: one side cleans, the other carries natural exfoliating particles. Three levels of exfoliation across the range, and a different fruit scent for each.
Banana is the newest picolé and the creamiest: a babassu soap base with bamboo and murumuru-seed particles (murumuru is an Amazonian palm; the particles are made from what is left after the butter is extracted), and a sweet scent of ripe banana, cherry and caramel. Moderate exfoliation, for everyday use.

The scent
Cherry, banana, red fruits and a liqueur note on top; orchid and rose in the heart; a creamy accord with vanilla and caramel at the base. Sweet and creamy.
Key ingredients
- Bamboo stem powder – fine, even exfoliating particle.
- Murumuru seed powder – Astrocaryum murumuru, an Amazonian palm; the particle comes from the seed after the butter is extracted.
- Babassu-based soap – sodium babassuate, the saponified Amazonian palm oil.
How to use
- Remove the stick.
- Lather on wet skin, in the shower, and massage gently; use the textured side where you want more exfoliation (elbows, knees, heels).
- Rinse. For everyday use; keep the bar out of running water between showers so it lasts longer.

Frequently asked questions
Is the stick part of the product?
Yes: it is the "ice lolly" stick, in wood. Pull it out before the first use, or keep it in as a handle for the first showers.
How strong is the exfoliation?
The picolés come in two strengths: Passion Fruit and Jabuticaba are the intense ones, Soursop and Banana the moderate ones. For a softer touch, use the smooth side on the body.
Is the packaging eco-friendly?
The bar comes in a compostable wrapper, on a wooden stick.
