Natura, founded in São Paulo in 1969, is Brazil's biggest beauty company, and Ekos is the line it launched in 2000 around ingredients from the Amazon, bought from the forest communities that harvest them. Açaí, the Amazonian palm berry, is known for its antioxidant properties, and this hand cream carries both its extract and its raw oil. The texture is light and absorbs fast, hydration of up to 48 hours for hands and nails, and the 75g tube, made of 100% recycled aluminium, is the size to keep at a desk or by the kitchen sink. Natura says the Açaí line supports 368 harvesting families.
