Four bars of the Amazon's açaí: açaí fruit oil in a 100% vegetable, biodegradable base, for everyday cleansing that keeps the skin's natural moisture and leaves the warm, fruity Ekos Açaí scent on the skin.
Natura, founded in São Paulo in 1969, is Brazil's biggest beauty company, and Ekos is the line it launched in 2000 around ingredients from the Amazon, bought from the forest communities that harvest them. Açaí is the dark purple palm berry of the Amazon, and its fruit oil is in these bars alongside a vegetable soap base with coco-glucoside and glyceryl oleate to soften the lather. The formula is biodegradable and free of animal fat, and the scent is the warm, fruity Ekos Açaí that the hand cream and scrub powder share. Natura says the Açaí line supports 368 harvesting families.
