Firmer-feeling skin without retinol: Amakos's antioxidant serum is built on the pure red sap of the Amazonian dragon's blood tree (Croton lechleri), rich in proanthocyanidins and taspine, for a visible lifting feel from the first applications and up to 86% more collagen, with rosehip, jojoba, panthenol and red algae in a 98.8% natural-origin formula that absorbs without a trace, free from parabens, synthetic fragrance and colourants.
Amakos da Amazônia is a young skincare brand from the heart of the Brazilian Amazon, founded in 2021 by a family team: a wellness researcher and a technologist, two generations working together. Its formulas are built on Amazonian ingredients such as copaíba, açaí, tucumã, pracaxi and dragon's blood, sourced from forest communities (the copaíba comes from the Uatumã sustainable-development reserve, in Amazonas), and the formulas have a natural-origin content of 95% to 100% per product under the ISO 16128 standard. The whole line is certified vegan and cruelty-free by PETA. Dragon's blood is the deep-red sap of Croton lechleri, a tree of the Amazon whose resin has been used by forest communities for generations; Amakos uses it pure, with no added colourant, as the antioxidant heart of this serum. Around it: rosehip and jojoba oils, panthenol, vitamin E and two red-algae extracts in a fluid, fast-absorbing base that leaves no film.
