Widi Care is a hair-care brand from Rio de Janeiro, founded in 2009 by Simone Braga: it started in the city's salons and moved into Brazilian bathrooms in 2016 with its home-care lines, all made in the brand's own factory. Its best-known line is Juba ("mane"), the curly and coily range whose product names are little instructions in Portuguese: Higienizando a Juba (cleansing the mane), Encaracolando a Juba (curling the mane), Modelando a Juba (shaping the mane). The Hydro-Nourishing Mask is the line's treatment for hydration day: a creamy mask with murumuru butter, coconut and golden linseed oils and hazelnut extract, with seaweed extract (Fucus vesiculosus) in the base.
It is the mask most Brazilians pair with the Juba shampoo and conditioner; on treatment days mask first, then conditioner.

How to use
- After shampoo, rinse well and squeeze out the excess water.
- Apply a generous amount to damp lengths and ends, working it through each section ("gloving" the hair).
- Leave for 5 to 10 minutes, with or without heat.
- Rinse thoroughly and style as usual.

Frequently asked questions
How often should I use it?
Once a week on hydration day, or whenever curls feel dry. On the hair schedule it alternates with the Butter Oil nourishing mask and the Reconstructing Mask.
Can I add oil to it?
Yes. A few drops of the Juba Vegetable Oil Blend mixed into the mask give very dry ends extra nourishment.
Does it contain nut oils?
Yes: hazelnut extract and macadamia seed oil. If you have a tree-nut allergy, check the full ingredient list before use.
